A Few Key Details
I offer individual speech therapy for children and adults.
I see clients at my office in Montpelier and virtually. I am licensed in Vermont and Colorado.
I accept VT Medicaid and VT BCBS. If you have a different insurance, you would pay me directly and I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance. My session rate is $120 and sessions are usually about 50 minutes.
Clients and their families tend to come to me for one or a combo of three reasons: AAC, literacy and social communication.
They’re curious about exploring AAC and need help getting started. I can support you with pretty much anything related to AAC - including initial exploration, evaluation, insurance funding and also figuring out where to go once you have your communication system. This process can feel really daunting if you’ve never done it before or are learning as you go. Lucky for you, I am super comfortable navigating all the ins and outs of AAC!
Somethings to know about my approach:
There are no prerequisites for AAC
No is too anything to learn to read and write.
Connection is the foundation for everything else.
Autonomy and self-identity are always honored.
