Engage Your Intuition (Past Ideas 4)

Each week we’ll explore ways to

  1. Respond to our head, face, neck, and vocal tension

  2. Soothe our reactive nervous system

  3. Rewire, individually and collectively, through playful and creative activities that tap into the breath, voice, art and music.

Leah will guide and encourage you to experiment with play, creative expression, communication and embodiment. We will slow down, observe and listen more closely to what our body is saying it needs.

We will learn about the intricate relationship between resilience, co-regulation, creativity and communication. We will have an opportunity to talk about incorporating these strategies and practices into our daily lives, work and school settings. How might we model these tools for others? What would it feel like to encourage others to try something new and step into a shared space of vulnerability as we lead by example? What world of possibility can we imagine for ourselves and our communities?

We will meet using Zoom. You’ll receive an email each week with any special instructions - what to bring, what to expect, etc. The workshop is designed to be interactive and engage participants as a collective. We do ask that your camera be on at all times, if possible. However, you are welcome to simply observe any activity if that is most comfortable for you. The roles of actor and witness are equally valued. Please choose the space that best suits your needs.

To sign up or to ask questions, email Leah at leah.sophrin@gmail.com. Payment can be made via paypal.me/leahsophrin. The cost is $200 with a sustainable sliding scale. This means that if $200 is not sustainable for you right now, you can choose a different number that will work for you!
